Marta González Lacabux is the author of the first of the two new theses from the Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology , titled ‘Childhood Oncology: Variables, Assessment, and Psychological Intervention’. As the author herself states, “many children, after a cancer diagnosis, see their health, their lives, and those of their closest relatives limited.” While psychology cannot eliminate the problem, it aims to reduce its incidence in the child’s life, making the disease process as bearable as possible.
The second new thesis from the Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology is titled ‘Treatment Plan for Abusers with Addiction Problems’. Its author is Nuria Ruiz Andrada, who states that there is a large amount of data indicating a close relationship between drugs and abuse. This is why the need arises to create a mixed intervention plan whose objective must be to address both addiction and violence.
