ISEP begins the academic year with a view to Latin America. Fermín Carrillo, ISEP’s Director of Projects and International Relations, has participated as a lecturer in the specialization of Clinical Psychology of childhood and adolescence at Universidad de la Sabana in Colombia, teaching a subject of vital importance for future psychologists: ‘How to manage a child and adolescent psychology practice’.
With this training, ISEP has transmitted to Colombian students the key values, competencies, and skills to respond with commitment to the demands of their profession. Personal and professional development and success are achieved through the acquisition of interpersonal, intrapersonal, and systemic competencies that will allow for proper management of professional projects, time, and the development of leadership and team management skills. This type of training, usually overlooked in university academic programs, is one of ISEP’s concerns, given that the current professional landscape presents self-employment as the most viable option for working as a therapist. Gaining knowledge on how to manage your business is the foundation for new psychologists to enter the job market from day one.
ISEP complements its master’s programs with ISEP LIdera, a training supplement that equips you with the technical and social competencies needed to excel in the workplace.
