Ainhoa Sánchez Aznar is the author of the new dissertation from the Master’s in Clinical and Health Psychology ‘Influence of diet on eating disorders’ from the Dissertation Corner, the ISEP Training space that allows online consultation of the best dissertations by ISEP students.
As its author points out, “many factors influence the development and maintenance of eating disorders, presenting as a very complex disorder, and therefore, very interesting to study and delve into. Currently, the answer to why people develop an eating disorder has not yet been found, but what has been proven is that personal, family, interpersonal, and social factors all play a role” and she adds that “a specific factor currently associated with eating disorders is that the vast majority (if not all) of people with eating problems have dieted at some point in their lives. In this work, I intend to discover if there is sufficient evidence to corroborate this fact, since if so, measures would have to start being considered to prevent people from starting to diet”.
