ISEP signs a collaboration agreement with Club Deportivo Oliver to create a sports psychology department. It will be composed of a supervising tutor and trainee coaches from the Institute’s Master’s in High Performance and Sports Coaching . The work to be carried out will be both at a group level in the club’s different categories and individually whenever required by the coach.
The department’s objective will be to improve performance on the field, concentration levels, and teamwork in the senior categories. And in the junior categories, to help understand sport as an activity for enjoyment and personal growth. ISEP has set the goal of offering one coach per team and psychological support in all matches.
The intervention of the coach in clubs like Deportivo Oliver is transversal, jointly addressing and following the same line of action for players, technical staff, players’ families (especially in the junior categories, with underage footballers), and management.
