A story of transformation: From engineering to psychology
Sergio Padrón’s journey is a powerful source of inspiration. Originally trained as an engineer, he decided to make a brave and profound shift in his professional life to follow his true calling: psychology.
In this search for a new horizon, Sergio chose Universidad ISEP as the catalyst for his transformation. It was in our classrooms where he found the tools, knowledge, and specialization he needed to build his new future. By pursuing a Double Master’s Degree with us in Clinical and Health Psychology and in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, he laid the solid foundations upon which he has built a highly impactful career.
A path of excellence and commitment to mental health
The Honorary Doctorate was awarded to him in recognition of his tireless work in crucial areas such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and couples therapy. His work is not limited to evidence-based clinical practice but also extends to teaching and psychoeducation, always seeking to improve the quality of life for his patients and the community in general.
Continuous training has been a constant in his career, with postgraduate studies and specializations in Mexico, Spain, Colombia, and Argentina, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence and scientific updating.
