Short answer
An RVOE is Mexico’s official recognition for a specific private-education program under stated conditions. It is not a blanket endorsement of an institution. Verify the agreement number, program, campus, modality and issuing authority in the official record.
What an RVOE does—and does not—mean
An RVOE concerns a specific program and the conditions recorded by the competent education authority. It should not be presented as a universal quality ranking, automatic international recognition or institution-wide approval.
How to verify an RVOE
- Ask for the complete agreement number and issuing authority.
- Search the official SIRVOES database or the relevant state authority.
- Match the program name, campus and study modality.
- Keep a copy of the result and confirm any discrepancy before enrollment.
