What you will learn

  • Clinical assessment in perinatal mental health You will learn to identify risk factors, differentiate between expected discomfort and perinatal psychopathology, and apply clinical assessment tools during pregnancy, postpartum, and the baby's first year of life.
  • Early bonding, attachment, and parenthood You will understand the importance of the mother/father-baby bond, attachment styles, and the emotional processes that influence the construction of parenthood.
  • Specialized clinical intervention You will develop skills to accompany cases of anxiety, perinatal depression, perinatal grief, high-risk pregnancies, assisted reproduction, and difficulties in the early relationship with the baby.
  • Family accompaniment and prevention You will learn to design accompaniment strategies for mothers, fathers, partners, and families, promoting prevention, emotional containment, and the strengthening of support networks.

Evaluation Plan
